Enslaving the South American's since the turn of the century, supporting Military Junta's as long as they maintained the flow of goods. Yeah, I would say that's bullying and not standing up for democracy.

Attacking Iraq in the 1990's instead of stopping the Civil War in Rwanda in which 800,000 civilians died in a month due to machetes, yeah I would say Bully protecting it's own interests under the guise of maintaining 'International Security'.

Going into South East Asia, to prevent the spread of Communism by killing 2,000,000 Vietnamese.

These type of things really help our stance of the 'Bastion of Democracy'.
