And I don't think I'm alone in thinking too much closeness with the likes of Clinton will stain Obama. He may reach that point where he loses touch with the middle class sooner than expected if he gets too close.

I think Richardson actually adds to a ticket... and he's in that weird middle ground where he's both establishment and not.

Yeah, Richardson would be good. He's a good cat. Knows a lot about a lot, too. Plus - border governor, right? Bring in the latino vote? Indian vote? Southern vote, even?

Yep. I like it. I think you're right. Richardson is a very logical choice, and a good one too.
