I know this is a little off subject, but can anyone explain why taking care of those less fortunate than you is supposedly a Christian virtue, however, the republican party which is home to a majority of the hard-line Christians has a far less social welfare agenda than the democrats? It's not just in the support of the working class man, but also issues like the environment, health care, and abortion. If Christians truly practiced what they preached, shouldn't the die hard Christians be democrats?
