Default Warning (4th Cable Cut) Iran Invasion may be Imminent!!!

This story is potentially of great importance and it is not getting the
attention it deserves from most media (mainstream US and English)
media in particular. In my mind 4 cables now puts it well
beyond the chance of coincidence and or accident.

Please look this story up and help fill in the blanks.

There are hundreds of variations on the story on the press wires but few are making it to US outlets.

I have to wonder if something big is afoot?

Many have suspected that something big might happen soon I so can't help but wonder if perhaps this is the first hint that something is indeed happening?

If you (perhaps planned on invading Iran?) and you wanted to keep the
world in the dark about it for as long as possible (until it was already a done deed and pretty much irreversible) then cutting cables (and shortly after that jamming radio transmissions) would be a great way to do it.

Remember there have been stories (rumors really) of gigantic US and
British troops and supply gatherings near the Eastern Border of Iraq.

In a potentially unrelated story? Hugo Chavez just last week raised an alarm bell about large gatherings of troops and supplies along the Southern
Colombia-Venezuela border. He accused the US of orchestrating an invasion
of Venezuela using Colombia as the base for the assault.

Or maybe some enterprising American workers finally got sick of having their jobs outsourced to India and figured that it was time to throw a shoe
in the mill-works?

Ships did not cut internet cables: Egypt

Posted 6 hours 23 minutes ago

Ships are not responsible for damaging undersea internet cables in the
Mediterranean, Egypt's Government says.

Two cables were damaged earlier this week in the Mediterranean sea and
another off the coast of Dubai, causing widespread disruption to
internet and international telephone services in Egypt, Gulf Arab
states and South Asia.

A fourth cable linking Qatar to the United Arab Emirates was damaged
on Sunday causing yet more disruptions, telecommunication provider
Qtel said.

Egypt's transport ministry said footage recorded by onshore video
cameras of the location of the cables showed no maritime traffic in
the area when the cables were damaged.

"The ministry's maritime transport committee reviewed footage covering
the period of 12 hours before and 12 hours after the cables were cut
and no ships sailed the area," a statement said.

"The area is also marked on maps as a no-go zone and it is therefore
ruled out that the damage to the cables was caused by ships."

Earlier reports said that the damage had been caused by ships that had
been diverted off their usual route because of bad weather.

A repair ship is expected to begin work to fix the two Mediterranean
cables on Tuesday.

Second related post and story here...

Interesting that this should come right as Iran was AGAIN trying to
make a go of their on again off again oil bourse project.

The first time Iran announced their oil bourse was to open was March
2006 It has attempted to open it about four times since then but failed to.
No real reasons were ever given for the delays. Heard a rumor that not enough Euros were made available to do the volume of exchanges expected.

It is funny that the Bush admin canceled the FEDs reporting of M3
(Eurodollars) in Feb 2006 (just a couple days after Iran had their first press release where they announced their plans to open an oil bourse.

Basically the world's economists have been pretty much in the dark
over the direction and rate of flow of Greenbacks into or out of foreign banks
into/out of the US treasury since early 2006.

I don't think it is a wild speculation to say that greenbacks have been flooding back to the FED but the exact amount (and the origins of that flow) is a
mystery because the M3 data is missing.

We never got a good explanation of why the FED stopped reporting the
M3, something they had been doing reliably since the 1950s.

And now this "coincidence" with the cables (the very cables that tie
Iran's banks to the rest of the world) and the breaks come right as they are opening their bourse.

Doesn't sound like a coincidence to me.

Iran Oil Bourse to deal blow to dollar
Fri, 04 Jan 2008 20:45:41

Iran's Finance Minister Davoud Danesh-Jafari
The long-awaited Iranian Oil Bourse, a place for trading oil,
petrochemicals and gas in various non-dollar currencies, will soon
open.

Iran's Finance Minister Davoud Danesh-Jafari told reporters the bourse
will be inaugurated during the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution
(February 1-11) at the latest.

"All preparations have been made to launch the bourse; it will open
during the Ten-Day Dawn (the ceremonies marking the victory of the
1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran)," he said.

The Minister had earlier stated that the Oil Bourse is located on the
Persian Gulf island of Kish.

Some expert opinions hold inauguration of the bourse cold
significantly devalue the greenback.
