Just for the record, and to put this little tidbit into some "additional context", let it be known that
Ron Paul was the very first candidate to sign the Pledge!
And, here's a YouTube of him doin' it:
See?
So, does thit not lend some credence, to the viewpoint I was expressing earlier?
There is "some" natural alignment between Ron Paul voters, and Obama voters.
There is actually an organization, called "Republicans for Obama", and here it is:
http://www.republicansforobama.org/?q=homepage
And, check out this little news story here: "why Republicans like Obama":
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...020102663.html
So, this is kinda my view too. The Ron Paul voters, and
some of the Obama voters, hv a "natural affinity", politically speaking. The
main difference between the Ron Paul people, and the social-justice crowd, has to do with the issue of "how to spend money". In almost
all other ways, they're perfectly aligned.
See? I'm showing you this, n the way of another "example", in support of my contention, that the political "axes are shifting".
This is
very interesting, in my eyes. It's
historic. This has happened, maybe a grand total of four times, in the entire history of the United States!!!
Ain't it great to be alive, right here, right now?
