There’s a significant difference between a Christian and a “religious” person, including supposed religious Christians. (Big subject for another thread)

Anyways, a Christian would definitely lean left politically; there are plenty, they just don't make a buncha noise.

The flag-waving-pick-yourself-up-by-your-bootstraps religious right are some other breed… I suspect the difference between sheep and goats, if you understand the metaphors.
