
To further explain... and hopefully more for some stimulating conversation rather than fighting...
It seems there are so many different definitions as to what is “Christian”, and everyone is sure theirs is right.
Naturally, I’ve formed mine, and my conscience dictates that’s the one I go with.
There are but a couple simple and clear priorities that make up Christ’s Word. Not very complicated, until of course one attempts to justify and rationalize things that don’t fit, and add things to it that aren’t there, which is in essence not following it.
I’m familiar with the priorities and values of the religious right. I do feel I can *kinda* paint them all at once, since they’d not call themselves that or vote that way unless they shared those values and priorities. Well, “I” find those priorities to be contrary to those priorities “I” understand to be Christian.
Hell... while I’m foolishly making generalizations,
