I agree with a lot of the things you said except this. I live south of boston. I went to the qualifier at my gun club. A lot of cops have no clue how to handle firearms. They where playing around with AR-15's loaded pointing them at people in the club house. Most of them it's the only time they go to the range. My point is they're the last people I'm gonna call to defend me. Why would you buy a hangun for your home defence and not just to carry. If you shoot down the hall at someone the slug could go through a wall and hit one of your kids or someone in another house. Use a shotgun for home defense.
