Its interesting for me to say that not to teach religion to a child is depriving them of making hte choice to believe.

Think about it this way, if you teach your kid christianity for 15 years, then one day say "oh and there are these other religions here, have a looksee and decide which one is right for you".

And you can argue well then teach a little bit of all religion sto a child, then

Would you really wanna do that to your kid? things that we dont even comprehend and agree on as adults?
the only way to really make sure childen choose is keeping it out of your life, and the idea will present itself to your kid naturally. When they ask about, try to be as neutral as possible.
When they form they rational thinking, they can access all the arguements and choose for themselves
