Con logic...
Spend trillions (yes trillions, the full projected cost of the war) on a war based on lies and that has killed hundreds of thousands. To cons that is patriotic moral and ethical and even a "good bargain."
But spending even a few billion on health care, education, maintenance for our crumbling infrastructure, a sane sustainable energy future... To a con all of those are "pork" all of those are immoral, all of those are bad ideas.
Obviously something is wrong with the cons priorities.
