I must say I've heard this said more often about Clinton, as she is anathema to many independents.
If you agree with Clinton's policies, it makes no sense at all to vote for McCain over Obama. And no one has yet given me anything concrete about how Clinton's "experience" is important.

If experience was so important to you guys why didn't you pick Biden or Richardson or Dodd... hell, I think even Kucinich has more experience!

A president can make up for experience with experienced advisors.
There's no way to make up for being convinced you know everything about everything just because you lived in the white house for a few years.
