Here is McCain defending us being in Iraq for 100 years.
Quote:
"It's not a matter of how long we're in Iraq, it's if we succeed or not," McCain said to CNN's Larry King.
"And both Sen. Obama and Clinton want to set a date for withdrawal -- that means chaos, that means genocide, that means undoing all the success we've achieved and al Qaeda tells the world they defeated the United States of America.
"I won't let that happen."

First, speaking of being unspecific, who will be commiting this "genocide". There has already been tons of killing. Sectarian violence. Insurgant violence. So we certainly have not prevented the killing. And if we leave, who is goin gto start killing that is not already?
Second.. Let me get this strait...
We can't leave because a few fanatical muslim hillbillies are going to "claim" they beat us... That is right, McCains position is that the country needs to spend hundreds of billions of dollars and sacrafice more lives because he doesn't want a few morons to call us names.
Hey how about this one, WE claim victory and who give a (*)(*)(*)(*) what Al Qaeda says.
