Read your energy bill again. It actually cuts the funding for remewable resources. It also turns the environment into a playground for oil companies by opening up drill in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico. It also de-regulates the energy companies. While it would help ease our reliance on Middle Eastern oil, it still leaves us just as reliant on oil and cuts teh funding that would look for new sources of energy. This energy policy is not an awnser to our problems, all it does is make gas prices cheaper in the long run while passing on the real problems to the next administration.
