Bush and Cheney are both whores for big oil. NO ONE can debate that. Bush's energy commission was a bunch of oil industry people and the people serving on the committee was secret. Does this sound right to anyone?

Bush wants to do terrible and lasting environmental damage to the wildlife preserve in Alaska when even optimistic estimates don't amount to a significant amount of oil.

The era of oil is almost over. Sure there will be enough oil around for a long time, but China and India are going to push demand FAR beyond the supply and that will put the price of oil (i.e. gas for cars, heating oil for homes, etc.) far higher than the average person can afford.

If Bush could see past his own pocketbook and the pocketbook of his friends, he would admit that this country needs to make some serious decisions and we need to GREATLY expand our research into alternative and renewable sources of energy.

Halliburton and the whole energy industry will make Bush one of the richest men in the world after his term is over by paying him exorbitant fees as a payoff for selling out the American people and bending to their ever wish. Don't be surprised when you see Bush get paid record breaking fees for his personal appearances because the fees paid will not be for the inevitable babbling he provides in his appearances, but as payments for his work for big oil during his presidency.
