-If a woman is taken advantage of at a party, why should she be faced with the job of explaining to the child why she doesn't know who the father is?
-A woman should have more than enough right to abort at ANY time, provided that child birth could result in the death of her, the fetus, or both.
I would appreciate constructive criticism and rational replies. I don't expect all of you that read this to accept it, but I do ask that you remain civil. If you're going to try and give me a lesson on religion, take your and be gone.

1) I believe life begins at conception because each fertilized human embryo is a unique genetic design for a human being. If left alone it will grow into a person, be born and enjoy all the things which being alive brings to you and me. I do not believe that anyone, not even the mother, should be allowed to prevent this person from having the opportunity to live.
2) There are a plethora of contraceptive methods especially in this day and age. Most women who become pregnant have chosen to have sex without employing any of these methods.
3) A minority of women conceive as a result of rape or incest or coercion. The resulting embryo or fetus was not a party to the decision as to how it was conceived. Do you think that is appropriate that we punish the children for the sins of their fathers?
4) Legal abortion is not safe. Many say if we make abortion illegal, there will be back alley abortions and many women will die. Since Roe vs. Wade, the numbers of abortions have skyrocketed. So many women have died due to complications of legal abortions; it may exceed the number of deaths due illegal abortions. Many states have never kept statistics on it. Others states that did have been pressured to stop keeping the statistics by the abortion lobby; and the CDC and the National Center for Health Statistics have been pressured by the democrats in congress to re-categorize these deaths as complications of pregnancy or surgery or even natural causes or other things. Most are never reported.
5) Many women experience regret, remorse and post abortion syndrome as a result of having abortions.

This is one of many support groups.
6) I have met or seen many women on TV who had thought about having an abortion and didn't, even women who were victims of rape. I have yet to hear one mother say, "I wish I had gotten my child aborted".
