The easiest way to check is with a drug screen, which employees use now. I'd rather refuse to hire someone who fails a drug screen than to find out a week later that he's a doper when he stoned and drops a pallet of lumber on one of my sober employees.

2.) Commit a crime at all, then go thru due process...that is what most developed country's federal constitutions say...otherwise its unfair discrimination. You cant make special ammendments due to a substance....one atom or less gives you jail time? stupid statement.
We already have laws like that:

If you are seen weaving in and out of traffic and you are sober, you get a ticket. If you are seen weaving in and out of traffic and you are drunk, you get taken to jail.

3.) it is embarrassing and shameful that health care isnt a legal requirement in the USA as it is in most developed and many 3rd worlds. USA currently ranks 58th in the world in health care based on availability,
Health care is available to EVERYONE.

In fact, people die in the US regularly from things that they havent in Cuba in over 30 years.
Oh, here comes another 'Cuba is better than the US' myth.

USA is behind in the world and is less sophsiticated because of this.

4.) I would like to see your views on alcohol consumption, coffee, cigarettes/tobacco, chemical processes in food, refined sugar, Genetic Crops, chemical preservatives in foods, air quality, etc. etc. which are proven to cause not only health problems but behavioural differentials and/or disorders as well.
Ah, well now we know what your excuse is.

(otherwise, what you suggest is somewhat Stalinistic and from a very naive perspective.)
His suggestions were reasonable and I agree with them fully. Calling someone naive simply because you disagree with them is moronic.

As far as being Stalinistic?
