I know what you’re saying, but I’m gonna speculate… I'll just throw out a couple of my own thoughts here.

Repetitive prayer is spoken against in the Bible (like, who would want to be spoken to that way anyways). A basic structure was proposed by Jesus, but not the rambling on like some religious folks tend to do. More like speaking to a person what’s on your mind is what's right.

Think about this, too... if you know someone, like them, respect them, appreciate them, is it like a chore to speak to them? Even in a letter to someone where there’s no two-way, you can still communicate your thoughts and feelings.

Also, maybe prayer isn’t only to “inform” God, but it’s good for us to keep us from forgetting. I mostly pray “thanks” anyways.

Also, what's on our minds will come out of our mouth, so maybe our prayers sorta present a record to be referred to at some point, (I dunno)

It’s also respectful,

and maybe God would like to have our thoughts directed to Him instead of just knowing that He knows…

God displays many more “human” tendencies than most care to appreciate... mercy, anger, regret, jealousy… He’s not a robot.

Just trying to answer as best I can.
