Remember, it isnt a RIGHT...it is a priveledge...plus the constitutions stipulates arms exclusive purpose is to contribute to a "well formed and regulated militia". Btw, if you havent noticed, we do not live in the 18th century anymore.
Everyone knows what they speak of, pro-con, whatever...that is why it is an issue.
Sure, guns are bad...but what happens when in a country like the USA everything is so out of control, no real checks and balances and there ends up more illegal guns out there than registered? If you wanted to eliminate guns, you would have to take it out of the hands of the criminals, illegal stock piles, corrupted officials "depot sales"....impossible. Might as well balance the equation out with those who obtain their firearms legally and under registration.
