Did Barbara Boxer impede the investigation?
Born: 5-Apr-1951
Birthplace: San Francisco, CA
Gender: Male
Religion: Roman Catholic
Race or Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Matter of Dispute [1]
Occupation: Radio Personality
Nationality: United States
Executive summary: Former KGO talk show host
Calls himself the "Lion of the Left", hosting a nightly show on KGO-AM in San Francisco. A former priest now critical of the Catholic Church, in addition to his normal time slot Ward hosts an informative Sunday-morning God Talk and permits listeners to join the "Church of the Holy Donut". This makes complete sense to his audience because topologically, donuts and the Deity are quite similar. He was suspended from KGO on 6 December 2007 after surrendering to federal authorities on a child pornography indictment.

[1] Surmised from chat logs printed in Ward's police report, Oakdale Police Department, 23 December 2004. Ward describes an experience he had at the Palm Theater in San Mateo, engaging in sex play with other males at the back of the theater. Though he is slave to a female mistress, and large portions of the chat are obvious role playing (fictitious events mixed with real ones), a recurring theme of homosexuality persists.

"Controversial" national talk show host Michael Savaga (910 AM) claims that Senator Barbara Boxer's office may have called SFPD and said, "Don't investigate this case." (Friday, 4-5 PM, as well as yesterday)
Very interesting rumor...
One of the telephone screeners/producers of Michael Savage’s radio program received a call from someone identifying themself as a law enforcement officer. The officer claimed that Senator Barbara Boxer has applied pressure to prevent the full investigation of Bernie Ward. If this is true, there should be a full scale investigation of Senator Boxer.
