My question was more a philosophical one directed toward Ms. Tate. I was curious why she chooses to execute the innocent victim of a rape yet prefers a much lighter sentence for the criminal rapist.

The abortion issue never appears on a ballot. My guess is that if it ever did, US citizens would abolish it and that is why it is kept off the ballots.
