What is dangerous is the government. There is incredible opposition, even if not a majority, of the current administration. Instead of sinking bunker bombs, sink cash secretly into opposing politically democratic parties and let them delve into civil war if they must. Just as Spain, Britain, and France did for us... (when the US was building the 'ultimate' weapons of war at the time - super frigates)
Why would we, or anyone, need to send in troops to fix this situation?

the opposition is not that much. our government since ahmadinejad is radical, yes. I myself do not agree with him. I didn't vote for ahmadinejad, but 60% of other people did. so I'm gonna accept this. but people are tired of ahmadinejad not because of foreign affairs, but because of weak economic team he has. they made some ridiculous mistakes that is going to destroy Iran's economy. so I don't think ahmadinejad could survive the next election. even the right-side parties and government TV are against him somehow. believe me, he is a good person himself, but being good is not enough for being a politician. sometimes he confuses HIS beliefs with IRAN's beliefs, that makes the whole world angry with Iran. in the 14 of march election, I'm not going to vote for his party (radical-rights) and I'm not gonna vote for Lefts either. I think the best choice is the independents. and believe me, we have democracy here!
