Default Acts of God

In the UK Insurance Companies term damage caused to property by for example, Floods, Lightening,Gales, ect as "Acts of God"

Do these terms apply in the US

If they do, do those people who believe in God make a claim against their maker?

I would like to hear from Jehovahs witnesses, who I believe would refuse a blood transfusion to save there childs life because its death is the will of God?

Infact in the Jehovahs case do they have any form of insurance?
