Now. Just because something is printed in the Wall Street Journal doesn't make it 100% true.
But it is a source with some credibility. At least as far as hard facts are concerned if not the interpritation of them.
Instead of waving your hands try and find something that refutes any of this. I don't know that even the Iranian government denies any of the numerical facts.
They probably just say that they are engaging in the mentioned "corrective movement" as opposed to a "campaign to terrorize an increasingly restive population."

Very nice, I am not attacking his source, only pointing out that he entered a thread with an Iranian living in Iran. Made definitive statements, and the Iranian guy said they weren't true! He then started this thread!
I am a history major, so sourcing is important to me. The Iranian guy is a primary source, his statements are likely biased in some way, as are everyones. But he is still a primary source!
