Default Spring Peeper

I live up on a ridge in the heavily wooded hills of Middle Tennessee. I have a 'frog pond' I build last year and tonight we have our first 'spring peeper' in the pond singing away.

Spring had sprung!!

We get:
Salamanders
Green Frogs
Wood Frogs
American Toads
Copes Grey Treefrogs
Eastern Narrow-mouthed Toads
Chorus Frogs

Sometimes the noise is surprisingly loud, I have counted well over 50 treefrogs in the pond on some nights last Summer and have even recorded the cacophonic sound.

[there is a subtle political message in all this]
