Didn't prussia sort of made Germany? You'd think you'd be ingrained with it. It seems sort of like some American states trying to become British colonies. Or did it go down differently?

The Germany Prussia build and the Germany we have today are not comparable to each other, the Kaisereich was a confederation in which all members retained their own flag, political autonomy, and their own army. Many German have still strong feelings for Prussia, those with a little historical knowledge know that life became constantly worse since the end of ww1, the end of the rule by the Prussian kings which constituted the German kaisers.
The current government is is a bunch of traitors who want to sell the little autonomy we have still left to the centralized monster in Brussels! No thanks! Either an independent Prussia or an reorganized Germany in form of a confederation offering autonomy for it's member states!
