I definitely did not wade through all that. You could have boiled it down, I assume , to the premise that there are no really poor people in America because hardly anyone is starving and everyone has a T.V. and a refrigerator. OF COURSE, everyone has a T.V. and frig. So what?

Why don't you answer these questions: how many Americans have a positive net worth? How many Americans have comprehensive health coverage? How many Americans will be in financial trouble if 1) they are unemployed for more than 2 months 2) have a significant health problem? How many Americans are able to save for retirement?
