The government's position is:
It is not your right to do what you want with your body, if you want to put certain forbidden substances in your body that will affect no one else.
It is not your right to do what you want with your body, if you want to kill yourself, unless you are dying soon anyway.
But, interestingly, it is your right to do what you want with your own body, if it will kill someone else (abortion).
3 very different situations, but the question is, do we own our own bodies, or what? And doesn't your right to swing your fists stop an inch short of your baby's nose?
