I haven't read a thing about this being related in any way to Kerry.

But I do think McGreevey is using his "gayness" to try and cover for the real problem here.....which is that his actions have now placed the state of NJ in a huge financial risk. The guy is suing for sexual harrassment. At a minimum the state will have to put out a bunch of money just to defend it. There's other corruption in his administation as well. And now, he's trying to make it sound like it was a personal matter and that he is being noble to come forward with the information. That's baloney. He needs to resign...."EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY" and let the voters have a special election. It's a Democrat state and I would imagine they'd get another Democrat governor, but this should be the voters choice; not his. IMO, he's lost his right to name a replacement.....through his own actions.
