Perhaps he was talking about AFTER our doctors over here fitted these guys with prothesis and fixed their hands? Such reapairs result in being able to shake hands. BTW, do you have the link to the context of that statement? Because I've never heard it before and would like to read it's context.
Besides.....Bob Dole "shakes hands" all the time. With his LEFT hand. So, I don't think it's quite as dumb as you'd like us to believe.
