Aussies are good pups too. An old farrier of mine had a few, And one Border Aussie mix, (*)(*)(*)(*) he was a good pup.
A lot of people around where I lived had ACDs, but I was never really a fan. But boy were they tough.

ACD's are TOUGH...more dog then I want to tangle with most of the time. One of the few times I've been bitten by a dog has been when I temperment tested an ACD in a shelter. I've found most Dobies though, to be real sweet hearts - much less reactive then GSD's for example and quite sensitive - I think they tend to mix well with other breeds. One of my favorite mixes is a GSD/Collie mix. I've had two over the years...and I lost my last one in October to lymphoma. He was a wonderful dog - and incredably gentle and too intellegent (opened doors, cabinets, refridgerator).
