This land is still a small fraction of the arab lands in the region as well. There is no way Israel should give any of it back without a comprehensive peace agreement guaranteeing Israel security from muslim terrorism. Otherwise, it will just be another encouragement to the muslim terrorists and they don't need any more encouragement.
First of all the loss of land was due to the Palestinians not being organized. Yes there were legitimate sales, but land was also seized during regional conflicts and looked at by the Israeli’s as spoils of the conquest. (Not right)
It is difficult for some people to look at a conflict from the vantage point of different societies. In yours and the Israeli side you see a terrorist nation trying to concur Israel. From the Palestinian side they look at them selves as oppressed and Patriotic in terms of the fight to regain their lands. It is impossible to say who is right and who is wrong. I tell people who just default to calling people and regions terroist societies , that the American Revolutionist were concidered Terrorist at that time in history , But to you and me they were Patriots fighting against the Imperialist from Great briton. Its all about preception!
