Yes, yes you should have, and I am very disappointed

It is a good piece.

I have a Springfield XD in .40 caliber.
Good piece. .40 is a good round. But I prefer .45. Although, two in the chest from a .40 will hurt ya pretty good.

I like the Sig's, but at 900 bucks, a bit out of my budget
Ive never fired a Sig (but I have heard some good stuff about em). As I said before, I run a Kimber Custom Covert II in .45, it is very similar to our ICQB pistols that we carry. So I do not have to worry about switching styles and what not. It works for me. Crystal (the wife) is working on getting her CCW and decided to go with a Glock 36.

Below is something for everyone's edification.

You may notice that the wound channels for the .357 and the .45 are almost identical, and some would say that the .357 is slightly larger, but as the .357 is what you could call a high pressure round, it makes follow on shots more difficult than the low pressure .45. A good HP like Federal HST in .40 does really well also. Please ignore the light red, that is the temporary cavity, temporary cavities do not wound you, pay attention to the black, that is the final cavity.

Look at the 165 gr .40. The reason the black is so large is because the they got complete core seperation. That is not something that will happen all the time.

1. Sport of choice for Marines: bowling.
2. Sport of choice for Sailors: football.
3. Sport of choice for Soldiers: baseball.
4. Sport of choice for Coast Guardsmen: tennis.
5. Sport of choice for Airmen: golf.
Notice how the farther down the list you go, the smaller their balls get.
