You just can't use "America" and a negative word in the same sentence, either way you slice it. One more thing, I'm proud to be an American, but not simply because it's America. I'm proud to be an American because it gave me birth, and I love what it stands for: Unity, democracy, peace, and freedom.
Note: You're right about the Aids thing; that's quite a silly assumption. But, honestly though, can you say that this country's government has never done anything asinine?

If we are ever going to heal the racial divide in this country we must begin holding everyone, black or white or whatever, to the same standard.
Let's face it, had a white man said the things Wright has said but about blacks there would be people in the streets with torches and pitchforks. Look what happenned to Don Imus last year. Al Sharpton was in a frenzy over that but funny I have not seen him comment on Wright. The left bends over backwards to cut people like Wright slack and it's just plain wrong.
Wrights words run the bases. He covers everything. Reverse Racism, anti Americanism, anti semitism, conspiracy theories, etc. Not to mention his association with Farrakahn.
For Obama to stand by this man after calling for Imus to be fired last year shows us where he really stands.
