and even then not to the palestinian nations but the arab nations.
before then the palestinians refered to the jews of the area and the arabs were arabs of the arab nation. all part of the "Ummah Über Alles" or as hamas puts it part of the Islamic Waqf. once again, the palestinian did not exist as separate from the arabs thus are not an ethnic group or any uniquely identifiable group.
