While our leader, N. Sarkozy stands for creation of EU unified defence policy, and Paris insists that our overseas ally would agree with the establishment of independent European defense forces (that could only enhance NATO effectiveness), London, on whose support N. Sarkozy has been so greatly counting, let us see its cautious attitude to this idea. Gordon Brown, in the view of EU analysts, considers that France tries to set EU unified defense policy over against normal NATO activities. But it’s nonsense!
Thus, the UK shows everybody in EU that its present powers do not interested in further strengthening our common security, because now Britain more and more acts in interests of its American sponsors, thinking of strengthening their positions in the world. In other words, British authorities are slowly but surely betraying our interests, flannelling Americans!
