When Scotland regains it's independence Britain will cease to exist and the Treaty of Union of 1707 will have been dissolved. So you see it is incorrect to use the word 'secede' (or any derivative of that word) in relation to Scottish independence.
Well, they can just choose another name for the union after Scotland becomes independent... It doesn't have to be Great Britain... It could be Small Britain, or something like that... And it will be smaller after Northern Ireland declares independence as well
