Actually, Jesus wasn't attacked by armies. He was eventually tried and executed by civil authorities, but no one tried to assassinate him or his disciples. Christians were persecuted after Jesus' death, but by that point Jesus wasn't around to issue guidance.

One other difference: Jesus claimed to be the son of God; Mohammed didn't; he just claimed to be a prophet. You may notice that the prophets in Christianity were a pretty violent bunch.

I'm agnostic; I have no particular love for Islam over Christianity. Mohammed was a much different character than Jesus. But I can recognize harmful, ill-informed and unfair attacks on a religion when I see them. Your screed is, in fact, just a screed.

This is simply false. I could cite hundreds/thousands of quran quotes to show muhammed ordering eternal jihad and authorizing the robbery/enslavement/murder of non-muslims, even in their "holy month."
Do so. I'll address them just like I addressed the out-of-context quotes in your sig line.

At the same time you clearly know very little about the topic, you want to tell others that they also do not know anything. The fact is that many muslims may ignore the violent majority of the quran and just try to go about their lives but that has nothing to do with the ideology, which is entirely evil.
I provide detailed, sourced rebuttals to your sig quotes, and the best you can do is dismiss me with generalities?

Either admit your quotes are so out-of-context that they're misleading, or defend them with your immense knowledge of the Koran.
