There have been numerous debates about abortion throughout the years. It's a touchy, emotional subject that no one likes to address. However, I am curious as to why men think that they should have say in what a woman chooses to do that will ultimately affect her health and well-being. Now don't confuse this comment - I'm in no way trying to sound sexist - I'm a male. The reason I think that regulations on abortion, if any, should be made by women, is because pregnancy has the ability to cause health conditions that can potentially be life-threatening. Wouldn't it make sense that the people (women) whose very lives could potentially be at stake should have the right to decide whether or not abortion should be legal? I just think it's hard for men to understand the situation since they'll never be faced with it.
What do you guys think?

Interesting take on the subject but I view there is a solution.
The life-or-death aspect occurs very rarely in pregnancy I do believe that the number in America of such situations are one in every five hundred thousand. (correct me if I am wrong) I believe that in a life or death situation an abortion should be strictly up to the mother whether it is her life or the baby's. On the other hand I think that abortion is unnesessary in any other circumstance. There is always an alternative choice to denying a child life for instance adoption would be fantastic as there are so many who Can't have a child yet they would be excellent parents.
Abortion shouldn't be the first thing that women look to during pregnancy. Just imagine how it would be for you if your mother had decided to have an abortion or look how it would be for your partner if their mother had had an abortion. For everyone there is a partner out their but this might be hindered by people who have abortions. (just the view of myself no offense intended)
