I had a motorcycle accident when I was 16 and still learning. Didn't make a curve and hit the curb. I went flying across the yard and was stopped when my shoulder hit the edge of the driveway, popping my (thankfully helmeted) head down against the concrete. I jumped back on the bike and rode it home mad. I didn't think I had anything worse than a little road rash on my arm until I went to get a drink and found out I couldn't lift my arm. It was only a sprain, but I realized how bad it could have been. I was only going about 15-20. I've only ridden a couple of times since then. I obviously have no skill for driving one.

Which is why I trained my dog to wear a helmet.
