There was a time for compromise and it was a year ago. Now Kosovo is either Sovereign or it is not, so it's a little hard to compromise on that. Already the plan should prevent the Albanians from laying into the Serbs in the country.
(And you Albanians better treat them fair after all this! Do not forget that America supported Milsovic before he started his ethnic cleansing and things!)
Personally I do think a fair sized chunk of Kosovo in the north should have been passed to Serbia. It will only lead to headaches for everyone.
