HANOVER, N.H. - The leading Democratic White House hopefuls conceded Wednesday night they cannot guarantee to pull all U.S. combat troops from Iraq by the end of the next presidential term in 2013.
The debate, moderated by NBC’s Tim Russert, was broadcast on MSNBC.
"I think it's hard to project four years from now," said Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois in the opening moments of a campaign debate in the nation's first primary state.
"It is very difficult to know what we're going to be inheriting," added Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York.

The Democrat controlled Congress wants Bush to pull out next year, with set dates, but the leading Democrat candidates for President can't guarantee that they'll pull out by 2013?
Hillary is a classic Cultural Marxist. She's by the book. Cultural Marxist's will stand on as little substance as possible. They count on bashing the other guy and winning by defaut. That's why "I hate Bush" was the number 1 reason why people voted for Kerry in 04. I wouldn't count on her or Obama laying out a concrete plan (plan with substance ) for ending the war. Maybe if she were desperate.
