Back in the day, it was believed that Radiocarbon dating could be used even if the subject was millions of years old. We found that it was not, so maybe that is what you are talking about for it being wrong. It can accurately test carbonaceous materials up to about 60,000 years old (before 2001 it was only accurate to about 15,000 years, but we found out about some stuff that made it so we could better calibrate stuff and gave us an additional 45,000 years to work with). After that it is no longer accurate.
There are now other more accurate methods that test samples that are older.

Yes thank you C-D-P. Sorry I didnt go into that far, but that is basicly what I was getting into. It just shows that we are still to young to know everything about this planet. We have a lot of grouing up to do.... "brothers" video in the begining is a good one. I dont agree with everything he says, but he does show another way of looking at things.
