I could care less if it's called gay marriage, but I am concerned that if it is not, there is greater risk of discrimination.

I also lack an understanding of why a gay family can't raise a child as well as a straight family beyond the excellant propaganda work put out by the "pro-family" crowd. The studies I've seen noted no significant difference in the mental health and happiness of the children.
