we do live in a free country but we have to set laws to protect people. i wouldnt want to see a 50 year old guy married to a 14 year old girl.. thats wierd.

i thought there was only an age limit for sexual actions. people have a problem with it because its very easy to exploit girls that way. an older man has much more experience then a young girl (and vice versa). im 20 years old and my girlfriend is 17 and about to turn 18 in a couple of weeks and weve been going out for 2 years now. i think that kind of thing is okay but when youre talking about a 30 year old with a 16 year old it not okay. guys that like girls that are much younger then they are usually like them for sexual reasons, wether or not its due to personality. some guys like girls that act young and some guys like girls that look young ans some like both. i doubt very many guys would get into a relationship for any other reason other then sexual intentions if the girls are young. the problem that arises is that a guy could very easily seduce a young girl for sexual reasons, especially it hes good looking and knows what to say and how to act.
i think the laws we have now are fairly decent laws in terms of sexual behavior. i dont think that anything else is prohibited by law.
