Those people are not being forced to participate in same-sex marraige. Just because something is legal, doesn't mandate you to do it. However, when you prohibit people from participating in an important aspect of society because their inclusion offends you, you are excluding them from society and that, my friend, is what is unconstitutional. This is why segregation was defeated and why the women's suffrage movement prevailed.
