Ok a couple things on your specific reasons. First of all you are right that people surround themselves with good advisers.

However part of a presidents job is to actually go there and talk one on one about policy with foreign leaders. Sometimes a president is also called upon to make a snap decision(hence, I'm afraid, Hillarys 3am ad).

As for "change" you don't look as smart as you'd like just saying that. It makes you look like you've been suckered. Obama has a specific list of changes he wants to make in the government and he talks about some other things (apperantly the sources of his funding).

You should look to those things and see if you like what he's offering.
