If Obama becomes the Dem candidate it will be the largest age difference between two presidential candidates, ever. I am sure that McCain will portray himself the "experienced" elder statesman.

I question the value of experience in his case! He has chosen some awful advisers, so far. Who is advising him on the economy? The gas tax holiday is a really terrible idea. Make Bush's tax cuts permanent? Again, a foolish idea. Who is advising him on health care policy? He will turn his back on that problem. His foreign policy advisers are hawkish neocons. McCain strikes me as someone who has not kept up with the state of things. It is an exhausting job for an old guy.
