ammo doesnt really matter either. you can open up 2 bullets and take some gunpowder from one and put it in the other to make it more powerful. its a dangerous thing to do but some do it. you can have a 45 cal do the same, if not more damage as a 50 cal. especially armor piercing bullets. those can take a lot more pressure on them.
