Guns are a medium for homicide not the cause and as C-D-P mentioned 4 times as many people are killed with knifes than guns in America. (doesn't add up seeing all americans have access to knifes but only half have guns???)

There is nothing wrong with guns. Promoting safe use of guns at a young age is if anything beneficial to ensuring the safety of our children. Crime and violence have nothing to do with guns. If you think guns are the source of crime and hate please show some evidence instead of being insulting.
