Even if and when the oil is flowing at 100% capacity in Iraq, war in Iran would disrupt the flow. AND when there is also an uprising in Africa, combined with a storm in the Gulf of Mexico, the price of oil will go to $5 or $6 a gallon and the NA economy will crumble.

All world economies will hurt for years - alternative fuels will gradually become economically feasible and the world may get greener, but a neo class structure will manifest itself on the continent with the rise of gated communities and harsh social justice and radicalism
